Success is not
the key to happiness.
Happiness is
the key to success.
If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.

~ALBERT SCHWEITZER

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to anything creative. As a child, I remember cartooning, paper art, calligraphy, play-doh, crochet, wood carving, painting, photography… I could go on and on…

As an adult, all that energy transferred to hand illustration, graphic design, photography, and knitting to name a few. And yes, I do still dabble in play-doh.

After graduating with my graphic design degree, I worked for a sports agency creating marketing folios for NFL clients. The next five years were spent in retail advertising. After the birth of our first child, I decided to leave the cubicle life behind for the more flexible life of a freelance artist. This was by far one of my better decisions. I love the diversity of the projects and people I get to work with as well as the blessing of being home with my husband and children.
